Our enrolment policy will not allow a child under the age of 16 to be enrolled at the Practice without a Parent/Guardian enrolment.
We only have capacity to see enrolled patients at the moment not any casual patients, sorry for the inconvenience.

PATIENT RESULTS

At Torbay Medical Centre:

  • We contact patients with the results of urgent tests as soon as possible.

  • Patients are contacted with all significant test results or if any follow-up is needed.

  • Normal results may be texted to patients.

  • Warfarin anticoagulant patients are contacted by the practice by the end of the same working day for their INR results and warfarin anticoagulant dosage advice.

  • Patients are welcome to phone the nurse regarding their results.

Measle's Outbreak Update

We're closely monitoring the recent measles outbreak in Auckland and across New Zealand, with 17 confirmed cases reported to date.
